Gujarat Science City - 1

An initiative of Gujarat Government, its supposed to be a bold step.
Gujarat Science City has been made with a view of imparting education in the form of entertainment. On one of its side, it has small village while on other side the suburban urban area reflects technological atmosphere. The Gujarat Science City has something different from others in the country. Visited by the former Indian President and Scientist Dr. J P Abdul Kalam it exhibits, mind blowing experience, models which can be worked upon, a showcase of virtual reality, activity corners, hands on labs and live demonstrations to provide an understanding of science and technology to the common man.

IMAX - 3 D Theatre


The I MAX screens are eight stories tall and the image is ten times taller than a conventional 35mm screen.The large format 3D projection gives you a different experience.


Simulator

This 30 seater simulator provides the feeling of riding a roller coaster, flying in an aircraft , a journey into space.

Nicco Park - 2

The Park


The Nicco Park has a scenic beauty appeal, it has lush green gardens and the greenery flows in each and every aspect of the amusement park. It has an exquisite Rose garden filled with roses. The park is also noted for its lush green ambience, hillocks, trimmed carpet of grassland and aqua-kingdom.
Apart from the amusement park, Nicco Park has also the Water Park. A beach environment with artificial settings - and sprinkling of sands is there. It also has a gigantic waterfall which is 40 feet in height. To add to the environment there is also a rain dance floor.
There is the Food Court to ease out the hunger pangs- a whole range of Indian, South Indian, Chinese and Continental food is served here. This Food Court which makes a large part of the Nicco Park has the mouthwatering delicacies from the top foodie joints of Kolkata!

Nicco Park - 1

Anyone who has visited Kolkata is surely going to tell you about Kolkata. Apart from the literature hub, it also has the part of entertainment running in its veins. Situated in the heart of the main City of Calcutta in Salt Lake - its one of the most happening place for the kids and teenagers. The elders simply love to be here.

Covering an area of 40 acres, it was opened in the year 1991. Jheel Meel was the previous name of the park. It was renamed in the year 1990 with the restructuring of the park. Its the only Amusing Park in the world which has got ISO 9002 certification. It draws a whopping 1.5 million people every year.

The first and the only one of its kind in Kolkata, it has been made with the help of AMF - an American Company.


Toy Train

Nicco Park has the Toy Train as the major attractions of the Park. It takes you through the wild jungles and has surprises coming to you in the entire journey.

Entertainment City – 2

The Park

The Entertainment City has two main sections - a Teen Zone and the The Great Indian Place. The teen zone consists of large set stages and concrete lighting for live dances and performances. And the Great Indian Place is the shopping mall spread over 1 million sq feet commercial feet with top Indian and International brands under its roof. As many as 240 retail brands, including Shoppers Stop, Globus, Pantaloon, Big Bazaar, Home Town, Life-style and Lifestyle Home, Bossini, Adidas, Nike, Guess, Marks & Spencer and W toare there. The unique feature of the mall is that all shops are front facing.

Not only this, there is a five star hotel with a capacity of 250 rooms, for you to enjoy the place at ease. The Entertainment Park also has a Monorail system to take people to all the four corners of the park. To add to the facilities there is a parking lot for the people who come with their own vehicles. However there is a charge for the parking which ranges from Rs 200 to Rs 1000. The parking lot can accomodate 1500 cars, besides the basement has a capacity for 1000 cars.

Entertainment City - 1


It is thought of as Disney Land of India - the Entertainment City in Noida. Unveiled by former cricket captain and entrepreneur Kapil Dev, it spreads over a whooping 147 acre land with an investment of Rs 10 billion. Built over an area of 100 acres of land, the park has more then 30 rides, supplied from European manufacturers. The Entertainment City Park has three entertainment zones, one for kids, one for teenagers and one for families each with its own separate rides, attractions and food courts. In addition to this it also has a Shopping complex known as the Greate India Palce. The Entertainment City is a is a joint venture between Unitech and International Amusement Limited, the promoters of Appu Ghar (Delhi).

Its the only Amusement Park in India which has the Monorail Mass Transport system to take people places inside the Park. Its the first of its kind in an Indian Amusement Park.
